Act IV Blog Prompts
Your group is responsible for responding to two of the following two blog prompts and posting your responses by Tuesday 4/19. I will check for completion immediately after school. Please make sure to read each prompt carefully and answer according to the guidelines. Remember: Each group member must post at least two entries by the end of the unit and must comment on two other blogs by the end of the unit.
1. Choose a quote of at least 10 lines from the play that relates to your topic and modernize it. In other words, put it into your own words, using modern-day English. (You can have fun with this, using slang if appropriate, but please refrain from using curse words). Then write one paragraph (5-8 sentences) describing the importance of this quote in the play and explaining its relation to your topic. Please be specific and analytical in your response.
2. Write one simile and one metaphor for your topic, and one simile for a character that most closely relates to your topic. Take into account the significance of your topic in the play. In other words, make sure your simile and metaphor are characteristic of how your topic manifests itself in Julius Caesar.
